Like all the best conversations, the one between Jameson’s Head of Whiskey Science and the Head Brewer of a local craft beer brewery, started at the bar and ended with a swapping of whiskey and beer barrels to create a one-of-a kind series.
First, we loan our barrels to our neighbors and when the beer-soaked barrels return distillery we re-filled them with Jameson, and so it begins.It started with Caskmates Stout Edition but we couldn’t just stop at one.
