Salice Salentino is an Italian town in the province of Lecce, Apulia. The place gives the wine its eponymous name. About 100 wineries edit the 792 ha of vineyards approved. The wine is aged for at least eight months in tanks. However, quality providers let the wine mature three to four years. At a minimum storage of two years, the wine may bear the designation Riserva.

Tasting Notes: Rich and round fruity aroma, dark fruit and berry flavors, medium bodied with a distinctive texture and a Soft velvety finish.
